We are currently looking for high-achieving people to become a part of the research and investment team for the Fund's offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in the following positions.

Analyst

Analysts learn a great deal about our business and the functions of our Deal Teams. They have an opportunity to develop important relationships and to build the skills necessary to move to the next level of their careers. Analysts acquire significant analytical experience in finance and accounting as well as general business skills. Furthermore, analysts will develop deep exposure to the technology market in Vietnam .

Analysts are responsible for the following tasks and duties:

* Perform activities to promote the Fund and generate deal flow
* Perform financial analysis and other due diligence activities on targeted investment companies
* Perform business research and maintain IDGVV's database of market intelligence
* Establish sector expertise in technology and other sectors of investment activity
* Assist Associates and senior members of the Fund in all responsibilities of the Deal Team

Job Qualifications

Candidates for this position should be college graduates.

Analysts should have the following experience, skills, and qualities:

* College degree with distinction in finance, economics, business, engineering and/or technology-related field.
* Must be a person of high integrity, high energy as well as results-oriented with the ability to apply excellent judgment and intellectual skills
* Fluency in English and Vietnamese, written and spoken.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with partners and external parties.
* Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook.
* Ability to handle sensitive material concerning the organization and maintain confidentiality at all times.
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and change priorities as needed.
* Exceptional organizational skills required; ability to meet designated deadlines
* Strong interest in performing high-quality and novel work for the benefit of the Fund and for Vietnam .

In the course of training and work, an Analyst may expect to:

* Work directly with senior members of the IDG Ventures Vietnam Team and side-by-side with the experts on our team.
* Receive an introduction to the Fund's activities.
* Receive finance and accounting instruction by senior professionals
* Participate in various networking and social events
* Interact with a mentor

Associate

Associates are an integral part of our operations and will assume significant professional responsibilities from the day they start.

Associates are responsible for the following tasks and duties:

* Perform activities to promote the Fund and generate deal flow
* Perform financial analysis and other due diligence activities on targeted investment companies
* Under the direction of a General Partner/Vice President, work with the Deal Team in performing its research and investment activities
* Perform business and market research as well as managing information in the Fund's information database
* Organize conferences and meetings as well as perform other administrative tasks on behalf of the Fund

Job Qualifications

Candidates for this position should have two to five years of work experience and an advanced degree (e.g., MBA). Candidates should have a solid background and experience in finance and accounting, operations and marketing, and/or technology sector expertise (IT/Software Development, Telecommunications, Internet Services and Infrastructure, Biotechnology, Hardware and Electronics, Media) in addition to outstanding organizational skills and initiative.

Associates should have the following experience, skills, and qualities:

* College degree with distinction in finance, economics, business, engineering and/or technology-related field.
* Advanced degree with distinction (e.g., MBA , MA , JD, PhD) in finance, economics, business, engineering and/or technology-related field.
* Fluency in English and Vietnamese, written and spoken.
* Must be a person of high integrity, high energy as well as results-oriented with the ability to apply excellent judgment and intellectual skills
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with partners and external parties.
* Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook.
* Ability to handle sensitive material concerning the organization and maintain confidentiality at all times.
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and change priorities as needed.

* Travel throughout Vietnam and the region
* Develop lasting relationships with colleagues in the Fund as well as with portfolio companies and outside partners
